Teddy

Teddy

My canine Teddy by no means struck me because the Stephen Hawking of canines. Whereas I’ve been advised by different dog-lovers that canines are about as clever as a two-year-old baby, Teddy appeared a bit much less promising. He hasn’t realized many tips, though I’ve to confess I’ve not been very in line with my coaching. He doesn’t sit on command, roll over or “shake arms.” He comes when known as provided that he isn’t doing something higher, together with napping—particularly napping.

I adopted Teddy from the town animal shelter about 4 years in the past. I wished a companion for my Beagle/Basset combine, Mignon, who gave the impression to be lacking her lately deceased pal, Cowboy. As is usually the case in big-city shelters, nearly all of the obtainable canines have been Pit Bulls and Pit Bull mixes, who’re prohibited by my unenlightened neighborhood affiliation.
